On top of that humans in Minoa only have a hostile relationship with demons. For humans, demons are something to fear.
But for Witches it's mostly the opposite. While they don't get along with the 'grower' demons, the 'stagnant' ones (the ones Robin reminds her of) are often seen as allies. And virtually all Witches who have a familiar have a demon familiar.
