[Euri is down in the lobby, fidgeting nervously while waiting on one of the couches. She's been sitting there for fifteen minutes already, but being early is always better than being late, right?

... Or was it the other way around? She can remember a few dates in which her date had been late....

She huffs quietly and wishes there was at least a mirror nearby, so she could check her hair and clothes. Her hair is down for once and she's made a very determined effort to follow Nishi's suggestions for nice clothing (cardigan, tank top, skirt, scarf, boots), so she's pretty sure what she's wearing constitutes 'chic casual'. Now she just has to hope Robin is impressed.]

[Euri is mostly curious. NEVER BEEN IN A BIG CITY BEFORE C:]

Yeah.... Kind of weird considering the mix at the tower.

[he shakes his head a little, still keeping an eye on... everything. he's already starting to map things and people out in his head.]

Not kind of--very weird. It feels totally different from the last place.

Really? Better or worse? [Craning her head baaaack so she can look up a particularly tall building they're walking by.]

[...he laughs.] You doing all right?

[She glances over at him and grins.]

Mhmm! This place is interesting!

Good. The town'll just get nicer as we go along, I think.

Okay! [And it is, gradually.]

... Hey, I wonder... since this place is so big, do you think it'd be possible to find bounty hunting jobs?

[he bumps into her shoulder a little. he's in a good mood now. C:]

Yeah, yeah, definitely! In a city this big, there's bound to be work like that.

[Oho, she's noticing.]

That would be great! It'd give me and Dog something to do during the day.

Me too. The last city was all right, but pretty boring if you weren't shopping or something.

[and this is much more his feel. they seem to be approaching a much nicer district, though--trade district.]

Mm. This one looks like it'll have a lot more to do.

[Yup! There are some waterways and canals, and the buildings are looking a lot nicer. There are also stands and little carts and shops and bright signs absolutely everywhere. The crowd is increasing quite a bit too, so Euri will be sticking closer to Robin so they don't get separated.]

[no worries. he'll steer them towards less-traveled parts of the street...]

Hah, it better--otherwise I'll run out of money pretty fast.

[She's quite happy with that.]

I'm just glad that place gave Dog a bunch of money, too.... [Otherwise she'd burn through what she was given buying food.]

[oh... oh, he's getting distracted by things.] I wonder if I missed lights.

[Looking up at him.]

I haven't seen lights like this in decades. I was just wondering... if I'm happy to see them again.

[he can't decide. he shakes his head a little.]

[Euri watches him quietly for a few moments, then looks up]

They're pretty, so why not?

'Cause they'll give me a headache. Especially at night.

[he'll start to tug her towards some of the stands. he wants to check them out. :>]

[Letting herself be pulled along. There are stands with various kinds of spices and food and others with handmade things]

You're being picky over lights - [Ooh, abruptly stopping in front of a stall that has a bunch of little metal wind-up animals. She's staring at a little dog that 'walks'.]

.... It's so cute.

That's a perfectly reasonable thing... to...

[ohmygosh look at it. he impulsively picks up a little bird one and starts to look it over excitedly, despite the vendor's very obviously giving him an untrusting look.]

Haha, these are great! How cool...

[Euri watches the dog do it's little walking thing until it bumps into a little cat wind-up toy. The two keep trying to walk into each other until Euri turns the dog.]

They're so tiny...!

[not to self... maybe get her the little dog one someday. he puts down the bird again.]

Jeez, I bet the whole place is filled with stands like this. The brat would have a seisure.
