corpse party untz untz

[Another day, another body at his feet.]

[Cheriour sniffed, getting the splattered blood off his cheek with a one quick rub of his finger. Today was a good day. This particular woman had been poisoning her lovers to steal their prized possessions once they were dead, and now she wouldn't be stealing things any longer.]

[The angel stared down at her flowing black hair mixing with the bright puddle spreading to his feet, and stepped backwards to avoid it. Really, this place was just like home- there were always people to watch, people to protect. Of course, it was lonely, but a job was a job.]

[He'll take a few moments to wipe off his sword before turning to leave.]

[Tomorrow was another day, and tomorrow was another body, after all.]

[It's when he begins to clean his sword that a familiar scruffy figure steps out from a long shadow against a wall. He's no bigger than the average dog at the moment, but his eyes are brightly glowing lights in the darkness of the night.

Cerberus trots away from the wall, sitting himself down in clear view of Cheriour and the body, and speaks casually.]

That's an awfully messy way to kill someone.

[That's his cue to wander on over, sniffing at the body before turning his head up to stare at Cheriour.]

We came back. Adel, you see.... [He's trailing off because he figures that should be explanation enough.]

She's here in the city right now, though.

I'm not entirely sure something is wrong, but when it comes to death this place can be questionable.

[Oh, he wags his tail.] She's fine. She's in a bar. [Drinking.]

The dead typically don't stay dead. At least, that's the case for those of us who were brought here by the tower.

[Dog wags his tail.] It's an acquired taste for some people.
