(no subject)

[Euri isn't entirely sure what happened. One moment she was out in the forest, gathering some herbs for another batch of potions for her mother. She had managed to climb up one of the smaller giant mushrooms in other to gather some rare hanging dragon's breath, when everything suddenly changed. That mushroom changed into a metal street light, and all the trees had become huge, ugly brick buildings. From green to... greys and browns.

With a squeak of surprise she lets go of the street light, landing very unceremoniously onto the sidewalk and the contents of her basket ending up scattered all over. The only not completely terrible thing about her change in situations is that it's late evening and the street looks empty, so it seems no one saw any of that.

Several choice swears later Euri is pushing herself to her feet, glancing about thoroughly confused. What the fuck? She stays a deer in headlights for several minutes before she decides to do the first thing that comes to mind, and that is awkwardly moving to gather up her basket and its spilled contents.]

[Blows a whole bunch more lights at her lksjdfjl and these go and grab hold of her head. And they... sing? It's really hard to hear cause they're tiny, but yeah they're totally singing ffff]

[Euri pouts at Ran before focusing on the lights. Cutiesss she lightens up a little, humming a bit when she notices them singing.]

He should be nicer to you guys.

[OH GOSH they are gonna crawl all over her when she starts singing, a bunch collecting near the buzz in his throat]

[Ran... just kinda... watches silently, glad that the conversation is apparently over even if... it's super rude to talk about someone when they're standing right there. Gosh Euri B|]

[She's quickly ignoring Ran in favour of the lights c: They're so adorable she'll start singing a simple children's song from her world. It's cute and the lyrics aren't too complicated, and Euri happens to have an awesome singing voice so it's rather pretty.]

[LSKDFJLKJSDF so okay a whole hell of a bunch collect on her, clinging to her, but others dance in the air around her, often two at a time, spinning together to the beat of her song. Every now and then a few leap off of her and join the dancing, but most of them end up returning to her. Occasionally a pair will go swirl up into the trees or the bushes]

[Ran... actually smiles a little wider, enjoying her song and the little display from the lights... Gonna go... climb up a tree and sit in it so he can watch from a better vantage point ('8]

[She's giggling partway through the song, trying to keep from messing it up completely but it's tough! They're so tiny and fragile and cute! She'll hold her hands behind her back and once she finishes that song she'll start another.]

[omggggg they are totally enjoying the shit out of this??? Usually they have to provide their own music, but with her here... *3* Gonna bang all night long tbh... lksdjf... lskjdfkjksldfj]

[Ran... listens for awhile... and when he thinks he's got at least the outline of the tune, he'll hum with her... Kinda quietly for the moment, not wanting to interrupt her...]

[She won't notice it right away, but when she does she'll raise her voice a bit so it's easier for him to hear even if he won't understand the lyrics. She's enjoying this so much she'll be singing quite a few songs, until she gets tired.]

[He actually... does understand...

He's omnilingual so he picks up on it the longer she sings. But yes he... follows along with her as best he can and... picks the singing back up once she tires herself out. He's got... a surprisingly lovely voice! Wandering along down some old Celtic folksongs now, attracting the attention of the lights... though most of them hang out on Euri a little longer, having grown rather fond of her by now ('8]

[LOL then he'll be able to tell the songs are about nature *^* flowers and the sun~

When she gets tired and he picks up the singing she's going to wander over to his tree and sit down underneath it, enjoying his voice.]

[Sings for... quite awhile... easily as long as she did before coming to a slow, sad dirge of a song and... eventually... going silent again, flicking his hands so the lights that have gathered on him flutter off again]

[When he stops she's going to look upwards, for the first time since arriving here actually feeling relaxed.]

They really are beautiful.

[She'll sing a a few quick lines as she cups her hands. Her voice is clear and airy, and as she sings a soft glowing light appears in her hands.]

[Oh shit cool??? Leans down, rolling to lay on the branch and watch it appear]

How pretty...

[and even though she finishes the hex, the light persists for a little bit.]

We can cast magic by thought too, but this is much more elegant.
