[It's a calm, clear day with little breeze, so there's not even a strong current to wade against. Little fish and crabs dart and scurry out of the way of her feet, as she gets further away from the shore, and even a few rays when they're disturbed from their lazy sunbathing. But the water never gets above her knees, and remains practically crystal-clear--that's the nice part about a sand bar. If there's any threats about, they shouldn't be hard to spot, and big sharks wouldn't venture places they'd just get stuck on.
As she nears the island, though, the water gets just ever so much deeper. There's a few more boulders and sea rocks scattered around it's shore, too, which provide more potential danger if she's not careful.]
