In which; we contemplate the misuse of travel.

[The experiment was a perfect success! Except, no. Not at all really.

Arro looked at the latest results of opening a rend in the dimensions, and arguably this was stranger still than his own wanderings to an fro; he hadn't quite realized that it opened an actual doorway--back and forth travel. He was under the impression he'd been opening one-way holes that only would allow him to go through.

Which brought him to the girl. Cute, which was perfectly acceptable. He knelt, looking her over carefully. Undeniably curious if the rend had done this, or if she tripped into the doorway, he looked her over from head to toe. Regardless, he sighed softly; it would be quite a bit before he could open another. Still, might as well see if she understands the Low Speech or if he'll have to try Common instead.]

[This has his interest, and he leans forward finally.]

Such hard work for a pretty woman, Miss Euri. You make me curious why you're in such a profession.

[He moves his mug aside, clasping his hands together in front of himself, hoping for more.]

[She frowns a bit at him, giving him a guarded look.]

Because it's fun. And it's going to make me rich.

[Oh. Well, it seems learning about her is almost as hard as learning about him, but that's fine. He stands, pacing a bit around the room as he thinks on her words. She likes money, and a thrill. She also doesn't like talking about herself. Perhaps a small, quiet home with less than pleasant living conditions? Though. There's something about her that's just off. Human, but not quite and likely this is what's got him in such a fit.]

Miss Euri... [He places his hands on her shoulders, his meandering having naturally brought him behind her chair, of course.]

I just wanted to apologize for bringing you here so unexpectedly, and hopefully we can find some fun things for you to do here~ [He leans in closer, his head clearing her shoulder so he can tilt it to look at her.]

Now, I'm a big advocate of sharing, so why don't I show you the bedroom? You must be curious where you'll be sleeping~

[A full stomach and a hot cup of tea has her feeling much better about this whole situation, so even though she's still a bit cautious she's nowhere near as anxious as earlier. She's actually focusing on her tea when Arro gets up, trying to pick out the different flavours.

Of course, that means she's jumping a bit when she feels his hands on her shoulder, and she's quickly glancing back at him.]

O - okay. That sounds fine.

[A nap sounds amazing, actually. What's better after a big meal? With a little nod she stands, still sipping at her tea and totally intent on taking it with her.]

[He smiles, and a hand glides down her arm, his fingers finally resting on the mug.]

[After that matter is resolved, he takes one of her hands to lead her down the halls and by the many rooms, several of which have books. It's all decorated in much the same way, and it all has an old feel to it as if the decor has seen history made. The bedroom is large, as is the actual bed, complete with a small balcony to look out at the city, though the doors are shut, and the curtains drawn over it.]

Here we are~ It's a bit plain, but I hope you enjoy it.

[He leads her to the head of the bed and his nightstand, a lamp resting on it and a book(of course) with a bookmark in it. Motioning for her to do the same, he has a seat on the black sheets.]

[Old maybe, but this place is decadent to her. She ends up squeezing his hand as they walk, momentarily forgetting her tea in favour of staring wide-eyed down the hall. When they pass by rooms she slows down a little, peering into them curiously. Geez, is this guy rich? Maybe he's royalty. Where the fuck are they anyway, a castle??]

Plain?

[She's staring in absolute awe at the room when they enter, pausing in front of the bed to look around some more. But when she realizes he's sat she's quickly doing the same, setting her tea down on the nightstand and proceeding to stare some more.]

This is amazing! I've never been in a bedroom this nice before!

[He's hardly royalty, and really, it's due to the fact that Ataelic style runs extravagant. To be fair, he's also got quite a lot of savings.]

I'm very glad you like it~ I'd be very hurt if you didn't like your new lodgings, for the time being.

[He really does intend on helping her home, though he's also planning on enjoying this as long as possible. He leans, pressing a kiss to her lips, a hand moving over hers again. It was a pitifully slow start for him, but he was attempting to consider she might have trauma from the trip.]

[Well, that's unexpected.

She should have been more observant, they're in a bedroom for goodness sake, but suddenly showing up in a strange world and finding out it'll be months before she can leave and his whole home -

She's freezing up, before a deeply red blush darkens her cheeks and she quickly leans back, flustered and unsure if she should slap him or what.]

H - hey!

[Oh, he was very tempted in the kitchen, but that might imply disrespect. Though her reaction does make him chuckle, he leans with her, his other hand landing on her hip.]

Yes~? No need to be shy...

[He presses his lips to hers, curious if she's going to continue being confused or if she'll make a decision.]

[Okay, she can't exactly chalk that first kiss up to being an accident. Not with his hands where they are.]

Ah - ah -

[Nope, definitely not an accident. With a squeak she's scooting away from him, stunned and embarrassed and snapping the first thing that comes to mind.]

Wh - what are you, some kind of pervert??

[His reply is instantaneous, and he adjusts his glasses.]

I suppose that depends on what you'd like~

[He reaches, rubbing her back lightly now, and slowly scooting closer.]

We could take things slow...or if you'd rather be in a hurry that's fine too~ I'm very negotiable♥

[She scoots back again, but she's running out of room here.]

[He pauses in his advance temporarily to tilt his head before a grin spreads on his face.]

[That's... actually, she isn't sure if that's a good reaction. She stays where she is, eyeing him warily.]

I'm a Witch. [Half, but he doesn't need to know that.]

[He nods his head; that sounds like a satisfactory answer at last. That would also explain why she seems so similar to a human for him.]

I'm a demon. [Not a natural one, and therefore technically not a full one, but that's just splitting hairs needlessly, right?]

A demon?!

[That's setting her off. Horrified now, she leans away from him.]

Then why are you hitting on me??

Why not? Do demons from your home not?

[He lays back, rolling onto his side and propping his head on his hand.]

Because for me, I'd wager I'm likely not similar to demons from you home~

[She can't really picture a demon being anything but like the ones from home, so she shakes her head vehemently.]

The kinds I know - if one of them and a Witch get together - they always end up with an incubus or a succubus! Always!

[Finally. Finally. He looks confused. While it has taken almost a miracle, she has done it, and his brow furrows.]

That's funny you should mention that...but what are Incubi and Succubi like from your home? Here, they just have a lot of sex and feed on the energy produced. They're known for visiting sleeping people.

[This was his knowledge, so far...]

[Hugging herself, she's uncomfortable as she looks away.]

They're horrible amalgamations of Demons and Witches. They're total monsters, and they're only interested in eating magic the rest of us have.

That would be interesting--and terrible...to witness...

[He leans up, looking just a tad distant as he is thinking about that particular ability, but it would just be too detrimental to actually use. He's looking sympathetic as he coming closer, leaning against her.]

Well my dear, I assure you, there is no such thing here capable of that. Even if there was, I'd protect you until you made it back home.

[At least he's taking the danger seriously? She isn't quite sure she believes him, but if he is telling the truth then it's nice to see he isn't just dismissing her worry.

She does stiffen at the contact, though.]

[No, he is definitely taking her seriously, which is why he's being a little cautious now. Though that little bit of caution doesn't stop him from leaning to press another kiss to her cheek.]

Though, I suppose its hard to help myself with such a lovely woman~ Why don't you relax a bit more, Miss Euri? This sort of tension is bad for anyone's health~

[There's a knot in her stomach as she looks away. That kind of attention - something a lot tamer and more affectionate - isn't completely terrible, though she still feels the need to try and brush him off.]

I'm not going to sleep with you, so you can just forget it.i

[He has something of a knack for telling when someone is getting aroused. It might be his better sense of smell, could be a visual cue...but regardless, he just knows. As such, he takes one of her hands again.]

I have trouble forgetting...you might call it a curse~

[Jokes and irony not withstanding, he presses closer to her, aware she's out of room already.]
