Some kind of dragon au
[Before you lies a picturesque kingdom of forests and fields and farmlands. Mountains rise up in the distance, and set at the edge of a massive lake is an elegant castle with tall spires. It looks out over the land - forests surrounding the lake, a small but pleasant medieval town pushed up against the castle walls, farmer's fields further out.
The land itself is fertile and full of wild game, unsual plants, and natural wonders like crystalline caverns and waterfalls. Rivers of all sizes wind their way down from the mountains, which alternate between covered in fir trees and bare, jagged rock with mazes of caves hidden within.
Dragon AU go!]

The bones...? [ Ven tilts his head and gets up to toddle a bit closer, wings tucked in at his sides. Will fish really come up for the bones?? ]

The scent. [And yes, he occasionally refreshes it from time to time. The sand itself also helps, absorbing some of the remains' liquid. Basically, just dragging his tail across the area leaves it coated in that scent. And don't even try to point out that 'scent doesn't work underwater' thing. It does for fish.]
Watch. [And heads over to the water. With a light motion, he settles his tail in the water, crouches easily by the side of the water... and just waits.]

Okay so the nips at the skin between the spines is a little annoying, but hey, that's what makes this work.
Once he's got enough close by, he abruptly curves his tail fins and yanks inward, sending a rush of water and waves up onto the beach. Both his tail and the currents in the water throw a number of fish up onto the sand, leaving them flopping around in sparkly glory.]
There.
