[Now Euri had very specific opinions on Folkvang. Namely, even though it sounded like a fun place to spend an evening, so avoided it like the plague. It was due to her albinism, of course; she was too self-conscious to visit a place that focused on beauty and the body. But she's been curious ever since she heard about it, and since that was when she first arrived that curiosity has had months to gnaw at her.

Eventually it got to be too much and she had to check the place out. But there was no way she was going alone, which is why she's dragging Vanitas along! He isn't exactly the same as a female friend, but she's more comfortable getting nervous around him.

Fortunately, she doesn't feel too nervous right now. They're in the hotsprings area, the coed section because it would be a pain to have to yell back and forth. And lucky for her, aside from them the place is completely empty. She still has a towel wrapped tightly around herself and every so often she eyes the water suspiciously (even if this is manmade there could be mermaids), but aside from that she's actually enjoying the warm water. She might even start relaxing at this rate.]

This is pretty nice, huh?

What's that? 'Please pick me up and throw me into the deeper water?' Well if you're sure...

[And he lunges to try to do just that.]

- well no, she isn't shrieking. She is squeaking and trying to get away because DO NOT WANT, but it's kind of hard to dodge in water.]

Wha - no! No I did not say that don't you dare!!

[Too bad, he's grabbing her and fighting through whatever punching or kicking she throws at him to sweep her up under her legs and back.]

[Poor guy, that means he's going to be stuck with a very squirmy Euri who is still trying to shove him away and whose towel is kind of loosening from all the moving.]

[Oh yeah, 'poor guy'. Definitely. He just grins and tries to hold onto her, though she does make it challenging... the towel helps a little though, since otherwise her wet skin would make a slippery hold.

When he has a good enough grip on her, he just stands and tries (key word being try) to flip her into the water.]

[Oh whoops, once he stands she's switching strategies from getting away from him to clinging to whatever part of him she can hold onto with another squeaky noise.]

[Figures. And in effect, it puts him a little off balance when he tries to toss her, and ends up making him do a weird, circular dance to regain himself.]

Ngh...

[Even if he is thrown off-balance she isn't going to stop clinging. And to make things worse she's going to try kicking at his hand holding her legs.]

Asshole!

The more you squirm the longer you'll just drag it out!

[He's still trying to swing her, but her kicking's not making it any easier. So eventually he just has to readjust and bounce her up, moving his hand so that it's... unfortunately or maybe not, depending... grabbing her ass.]

...! [That's enough to make her stop kicking. In fact, she's freezing completely out of surprise.]

[It's unclear if he realizes it or not, because the second she freezes is the next second he finally gets a grip and flips her off into the spring water.]

[And there she goes! There's a large splash and....

... And she doesn't come back up.]

...[omg, really. Because he's Vanitas and doesn't believe it, he waits a few more seconds.]

[There's nothing :D; She really doesn't do well with water.]

He's not a horribly strong swimmer, but when she doesn't surface and he's pretty certain she's not just playing a prank on him, he wades in and dives beneath the surface, wincing slightly from the heat of the water on his eyes. But at least it's mostly clear, and he can swim towards the first object he sees.]

[Fortunately that's her. She's currently got her hands over her mouth, eyes squeezed shut. When she went under she accidentally swallowed some water, and now she's alternating between coughing and taking in more water.]

[He doesn't hesitate to grab her by the shoulders, and haul her to the surface. The added weight makes his own head go under once they surface, but he at least manages to push her above the water.]

[She's still coughing when he pushes her above the surface, but at least she's inhaling air now. She's going to keep clinging to him as well, for the moment not caring where he's grabbing her now.]

[Honestly keeping her alive is his first concern, so he's not worrying either about what he's holding on to, or if her towel's slipped during the commotion. All he feels is worry and panic, as he starts to paddle them into the shallower end of the pool. Luckily, it's not more than a few feet away, and his head surfaces again after a few seconds once his feet touch the bottom.]

[Ohh her towel has totally slipped, no doubt B> And even as they get to the shallower end she clings tighter.]

J... jerk...! [Yeah, she'll be fine.]

You didn--[Ugh, he gets a mouth-full of water, and has to spit it out, before he can finish his retort.]--didn't tell me you couldn't swim.

[Totally not his fault, okay, but now that he's on the shallower end, he's taking them back towards the edge, and... there's a hint of a blush on his face when he realizes her towel's in disarray. But he tries to ignore it for now.]

Can you breathe?

[She manages a huffy noise in between two weak coughs, holding him a bit closer.]

Y - yeah, I'm okay....

[showmeanguish]

[And it's at this point that the gravity of their position hits him. She's clinging to him closely, and he can't help but notice that her chest is exposed, and partially pressed against his own. It makes him swallow a little thickly, before he tries to pull away.]

Good. I didn't mean... [His words die on his lips, though, as he feels a pang of guilt for doing that, even though she'd tried to stop him.]
