[So whatever your character was doing they are most certainly not doing it anymore, because they're suddenly finding themselves surrounding by massive moss-covered cedars and... giant mushrooms? A closer look reveals that those giant mushrooms are very real, making this whole place look like some kind of bizarro rainforest with an Alice in Wonderland twist. There are plenty of other unusual plants - ones that curl up immediately upon being touched, flowers that give off an eerie iridescent glow. The sounds of insects and chittering mammals pervade the humid, foggy air, and overhead the cawing of crows can be heard. It's beautiful and just a tiny bit unnerving.

In a nearby clearing a little white-haired girl in a blue dress (is that a pointy witch hat on the ground nearby?) is playing with a little black dog. She's throwing a stick and he's disappearing among the moss and oversized roots, and returning it with a startling quickness.

[The answer isn't pleasing, but he easily notices the way she glances off. Awkwardly, or out of uneasiness, Heine runs a hand through his hair. He doesn't want to give in, but he also doesn't want to be left wondering who this mysterious girl is, or where he is exactly.]

[It's truthful. He hasn't been called or labeled as a "Warlock", but he also doesn't know what one is either.]

That isn't an answer!

[She's snapping that suddenly, and going quiet again just as quickly. Fidgeting a little, she glances down at Dog, who whines boredly. He'd much rather get back to fetch than this conversation.]

[Euri puffs her cheeks out a little, moving to pick the canine up.]

I'm Euri.

[If he isn't sure, then he can't be, and that means she has no need to give a full introduction.]

[This weird girl....was very uncute. It had been almost pleasant, adorable even, the way she looked away before, but with this attitude of hers, Heine was frowning and crossing his arms.

But.

She was someone new, and their conversation wasn't that bad. If only he could bring Lily, Giovanni, and the other children to this area...maybe everything would be better.

As he starts to relax, Heine walks a little closer. His pistol is on him, but he has no need to use it. That...fluff ball looked harmless, as did the weird girl.]

[This introduction could have definitely gone easier if she had just answered that before. (It doesn't hit him that maybe she had her own reasons; and the very fact that he was a stranger)]

Have you seen or heard of a girl named Lily? She has a collar like mine.

[Heine. That's a weird name, but he's a weird kid so she supposes it fits. She tilts her head at the other name - that one sounds a lot more normal - but has to give him a headshake.]

I've never seen that before.

[A pale finger points directly at his metal collar, and she shifts her weight from foot to foot before deciding to bombard Heine with more questions.]

It's a collar? Why are you wearing it? Is it magic? What are you?

[He sighs. It...doesn't come as a surprise that Lily wouldn't be here. Or maybe she was, and nobody had caught sight of her. And then there's the fact that this could still be a dream.

The following questions don't come as a surprise, but it doesn't exactly meant Heine wants to answer. (But, she did give out her name for him, right?)]

[Heine raises up a hand, touching the collar. It's just become a part of him, and he's used to having it now.]

I'm--

[A monster]

...nobody.

That's weird.

[But she's eyeing his collar now, curiously. His second answer is even weirder, and not at all threatening, so she's taking a small step closer.]

No you're not. That weird and dumb.

[Heine stares. And stares hard. Maybe it's irritation, maybe he's lacking patience, but Heine's next reply doesn't come out so kind.]

...not cute at all.

[And he's turning away, giving another quick glance around this area. He needed to see if Lily or the others were around.]

...!

[Did he really just say that?? For a split second she actually looks hurt, but then she's stomping after him, expression furious.]

What?? What did you say?!

[Scoffing, Heine keeps his eyes away from pointing back at the smaller girl. She'd slow him down, that's for sure.

But he can hear her behind him, and Heine is giving a small glance over his shoulder with a frown.]

Nothing.

[She's darting closer, close enough to try smacking his arm.]

Yes you did! You said I'm not cute!
