KID MEME FUCK YES
[So whatever your character was doing they are most certainly not doing it anymore, because they're suddenly finding themselves surrounding by massive moss-covered cedars and... giant mushrooms? A closer look reveals that those giant mushrooms are very real, making this whole place look like some kind of bizarro rainforest with an Alice in Wonderland twist. There are plenty of other unusual plants - ones that curl up immediately upon being touched, flowers that give off an eerie iridescent glow. The sounds of insects and chittering mammals pervade the humid, foggy air, and overhead the cawing of crows can be heard. It's beautiful and just a tiny bit unnerving.
In a nearby clearing a little white-haired girl in a blue dress (is that a pointy witch hat on the ground nearby?) is playing with a little black dog. She's throwing a stick and he's disappearing among the moss and oversized roots, and returning it with a startling quickness.
WHAT DO.]
((KID MEME! Your character is a kid! Or not, I don't care. Threadhop or do whatever LET'S DO THIS THING))

Seemed being the important word in that sentence though because he hadn't expected to actually run into anyone here. As soon as Euri appeared he'd huddled closer to the stem of the large mushroom and hunkered in near its gills to watch 8|| And watch...and watch, because Euri's hair is actually very aesthetically pleasing to his eyes when sunlight manages to hit it. It's kind of like watching a pixie dart around c: ]

It's actually Dog who notices the gross spiderkid first, peering up at him curiously. Euri blinks and follows suit, tilting her head when she catches sight of him. Definitely not human, so she's safe there. He kind of looks like a demon-but-not-quite.
Weird.]

Kaz does about the same back, closing his main set of eyes and continuing to watch her with his other three sets as a much smaller arm protruding from the carapace on his chest reaches up to paw at his mouth in a lazy groom. ]

So of course the best course of action is to yell at him. She carefully sets Dog down before waving her arms.]
Hey! Hey!

Hey! Come here! [She's making her way over to the mushroom stem, tapping on it as high as she can reach.]

[A foul-faced kid with longish, scruffy dirty blonde hair poking out from under a Yankees cap and huge blue eyes is stomping his way through the underbrush, glaring at everything he sees. His jeans and t-shirt are equally scruffy, with a few visible holes and patches of wear, and the cap is at least a few sizes too big for him.
That glare, though. He's a city kid through and through, and though he's been to Central Park once, he's never seen vegetation this downright aggressive. His natural reaction is to be aggressive in return, tearing the head off a flower and crushing it in his palm as he walks.]
Mom? Dad? Where the hell are you? [That's sure to get their attention, because they're always on him about his cursing.]

Her next is to dart behind a large tree, Dog close at her heels, and peek out to spy on him in her new hiding spot.
... Which would go a lot better if she hadn't left her hat sitting out in the open. She realizes that after she's hunkered down, but whatever this thing is might be dangerous....]

Some of his anger giving way to mild curiosity, he pulls off his cap and tries the witch's hat on. He'd never do it with anyone else around, but he's surrounded by nothing but forest and mushrooms. Why not?]

An adorable burst of rage flares up in Euri and before she even realizes it she's jumping out from her hiding place, screaming like a banshee.]
Take that off!
no subject
It's just a dumb costume! What do you -
[Wait a minute. She's young for it, but white hair and red eyes?]
- whoa, are you a mutant?!

heine has a severe lack of kid icons.
With a careful gaze on his surroundings, Heine eventually does get off the ground, taking a closer look at the wild plant life. He's not sure at all what it is, didn't understand much more than what he was accustomed to back in the gloom atmosphere of home. How his head could imagine such a scenery was beyond him, but it wasn't something he was exactly questioning either.
A few steps further into the forest he finally does notice the white-haired girl. It's instinct that he keeps hidden behind a tree, eying the girl a little more and the black puff of fur running and catching a stick. He didn't recognize her, knew very well it wasn't Lily or anyone he could recognize. She was a stranger to him, and while he should be careful, Heine does eventually step out from the area he was hiding in.
But he doesn't step any closer, however, eying the girl as he feels a rush of uneasiness and uncertainty.]
...who are you?
wanna pinch his cheeks
Wh - who are you??
[He doesn't look like a Demon, probably - does that mean he's human? What's with that ugly metal thing on his neck? He doesn't look like an adult, if he's human what's a human kid doing in here? That means he might be weak though, she could beat him up if he tries anything -]
You'd better answer!
[... Meanwhile Dog just flops over, stick in his mouth.]
only if pinching euri's cheeks happen first
Yet this girl...didn't have a collar. At least, he couldn't see if she did or not. It made Heine curious, and he steps forward again, and again. A part of him is still a little cautious, but it's not enough to stop him.]
You answer first.
[Heine doesn't mind answer her question, but it was better to make the same demand before giving up his own answer and not receiving one in return.]
*^*~
Actually, that seems like the best thing to figure out first. Maybe he is? She's never actually seen anyone with hair like hers before (outside of old people, but they don't count), so... maybe he's a Warlock. Maybe he's half human.
She stares at him warily, eyes darting up to his hair, then down to his eyes and back again.]
... Are you a Warlock?
no subject
He wasn't even sure what a Warlock was. In fact, a lot of things about this new scenery was very strange and Heine couldn't give a definite answer to most things. He has a handful of questions, but none are exactly forming.
All he does is stare back, trying to pin-point who this girl could possibly be.
But, he eventually does decide to answer with a very disinterested look.]
Maybe. I'll be a little more clear when you start answering my questions.

No. You have to answer first.

pretend I actually have bitty icons sob
And after he watches her throw the stick again, he simply speaks up from behind the fern that's partially shielding him from view, and has allowed him to just quietly observe until now.]
Is that the only trick it knows?
huhuhu *^*
... No. He knows how to do lots of things.
no subject
[The way he says that is almost challenging, as he pushes the fern down and out of his way, stepping a bit further out into the area.]
no subject
Like roll over, and sit and stay.
... Who're you?
no subject
[He cocks his head at her slightly, and crosses his arms over his chest.]
Tell me yours, first.
no subject
[She puffs her cheeks out in irritation.]
No, I asked first!
