[Before you lies a picturesque kingdom of forests and fields and farmlands. Mountains rise up in the distance, and set at the edge of a massive lake is an elegant castle with tall spires. It looks out over the land - forests surrounding the lake, a small but pleasant medieval town pushed up against the castle walls, farmer's fields further out.

The land itself is fertile and full of wild game, unsual plants, and natural wonders like crystalline caverns and waterfalls. Rivers of all sizes wind their way down from the mountains, which alternate between covered in fir trees and bare, jagged rock with mazes of caves hidden within.

Ven stretches out on his belly with a tiny growl and leans to the side. Pupish. ]

[He sighs and clicks his claws on the rocks. All right, fine.] I'm going with you on the flight. But if you run off by yourself, I'm not chasing after you.

[There, that make things easier to understand? Stay nearby and they'll go together. Wander off and you're by yourself.] Full?

[ Looking after him just like a mom....*^* Ven actually perks up after hearing the condition, tail tapping against the ground several times eagerly. ]

Okay! And yeah... I'm tired--do I have to sleep outside again?

The perking up earns his head a small incline, aqua eyes moving into as flat an expression as a dragon can get. Yeah, you're a fierce grown up, thwapping your tail like a pup.]

Yes. [You ain't coming in the cave yet, goldie.] But, behave tomorrow and I might reconsider.

[ HE'S GOING TO GROW OUT OF HIS BABY HABITS EVENTUALLY OKAY. Just give him time )8 and forgive the way he practically chirps at Riku in the wake of that information, blue eyes bright. ]

[Sure. Whatever you say; he'll wait for that to happen. And no, that chirp doesn't help either. The silver dragon arches his neck a little, angling his head down to eye the smaller male.]

[ Hush they are the same thing. Ven wiggles on his haunches. ]

I'll behave...! I'll stick close and wait my turn and everything.

[Then if he does, he'll get to sleep in the cave tomorrow. Which has its own set of rules. Riku lifts from his perch and slinks off the obsidian boulder, heading towards the water. Ven's fed. He'll be getting his own meal now, thanks.]

Ven would be more surprised and awed about the whole thing if he wasn't so fixated on the idea of getting to sleep in the cave. But at the very least he doesn't let his excitement make him a complete nuisance and he leaves Riku to his hunting, eating, and eventually, to sleep.

He'll be curled up in the same tight little ball by the time morning rolls around, snuffling softly with his tail wrapped up and over the top of his head. It's cold at night :c ]

[Hey he had a snack or two down there during swimming training.

But he'll be there in the morning, not even waking Ven, just sitting once again on his favorite perch, looking down at the goldscale sleeping in that little ball.

Sleep'd been fine during the night, and no, he didn't think about you at all. Asides from the fact you might try and sneak in sometime during the night. So he's proud to see you haven't. A morning swim took care of rinsing off and now he's just gonna perch here and wait for him to wake up.]

[ So rude Riku, thinking the worst of him. Ven was a good boy and remain completely curled up in his little ball all night long. Just like he's continuing to do now, although he does wake up faster than the day previous. His wings will shudder before spreading out wide and flapping once. His limbs follow until he's all stretched out and can roll over onto his back and look up at the other upside-down.

And chirp. ]
