[Before you lies a picturesque kingdom of forests and fields and farmlands. Mountains rise up in the distance, and set at the edge of a massive lake is an elegant castle with tall spires. It looks out over the land - forests surrounding the lake, a small but pleasant medieval town pushed up against the castle walls, farmer's fields further out.

The land itself is fertile and full of wild game, unsual plants, and natural wonders like crystalline caverns and waterfalls. Rivers of all sizes wind their way down from the mountains, which alternate between covered in fir trees and bare, jagged rock with mazes of caves hidden within.

[Right. That was a stupid question. He settles on the stone, hind legs tucking as his claws find grooves to dig into and hold tight as his front legs cross in a pose similar to the one he'd taken before.]

Hmmm...dunno! [ He wasn't paying attention to that or even looking for it, but at the very least he hadn't smelled any other dragons. ] I didn't smell anyone besides you. You're everywhere!

[He rests his chin back on his front paws again, dark silver claws curled against the stone in a mixture of rest and possessive.]

Why're you down here anyways?

[...cute. He slips his tail back into the water and lifts his head to look down at the pool, not very interested in the goldscale for the moment.]

[And then jerk! He sweeps his tail forward in a knife-like motion, sending a wave splatting up onto the shoreline. A dark brown fish flops on the ground, struggling to get back in the water. But unfortunately for it, that's not where it's going at all.

The silver's head snaps forward like a serpent, clasping the fish between the tip of his snout, and then flips it up to catch it in his gullet and swallow.] Figures. [And settles into silence again.]

...Wow! [ Forget listening to the jab, Ven's perking right up and lifting himself out of the way, eyes wide in awe. ] How did you do that??
