[Euri isn't entirely sure what happened. One moment she was out in the forest, gathering some herbs for another batch of potions for her mother. She had managed to climb up one of the smaller giant mushrooms in other to gather some rare hanging dragon's breath, when everything suddenly changed. That mushroom changed into a metal street light, and all the trees had become huge, ugly brick buildings. From green to... greys and browns.

With a squeak of surprise she lets go of the street light, landing very unceremoniously onto the sidewalk and the contents of her basket ending up scattered all over. The only not completely terrible thing about her change in situations is that it's late evening and the street looks empty, so it seems no one saw any of that.

Several choice swears later Euri is pushing herself to her feet, glancing about thoroughly confused. What the fuck? She stays a deer in headlights for several minutes before she decides to do the first thing that comes to mind, and that is awkwardly moving to gather up her basket and its spilled contents.]

[That isn't helping any. Euri yanks away, sobbing even harder. She's surrounded by a bunch of strangers and she doesn't even know this guy, either!

So she's taking a few steps back before turning and running off. She needs to find some place more comfortable than this horrible place.]

The crowds part for her, not wanting to get in the way of a crying girl or one of those punky kids causing them trouble, and presuming she leaves the yard, the streets are quite a lot less busy now that most people are working. But it looks like... most people are just scootching away from her rather then trying to offer any help )8]

[Which is probably a good thing, since the last thing she wants right now is help from humans. She darts out of the yard and down several streets, not even looking to see where she's going.]

[Eventually the buildings start getting taller and narrower, almost looming as they block out the sun... Probably the exact opposite of anything comforting to her lsjdfkl whoops]

[The air gets thick with factory smoke and while the people still keep out of her way, some of their eyes linger as she passes them...]

[Euri still doesn't care. Her eyes are filled with tears and the most she can do is avoid running into any walls. She's turning down more streets, completely unfamiliar ones, until she ends up in a dank side street. Her sobbing is mixed with panting as she leans against a wall to catch her breath.]

[...sob she should probably start paying attention ;A; Because across the street there is a group of three or four people, murmuring amongst themselves and watching her. They're... decently big, in heavy jackets with odd hairstyles... and they don't move any closer for the moment]

[Maybe if she wasn't so distraught ;; but getting no help from Ran's friend - not just that, but him not even knowing what she was talking about....

Euri can't standd it. She just wants to go home and have dinner with her mother and play fetch with Dog and this isn't fair.]

[Well then... aughalksdjfls eventually one of them comes on over and leans on the corner of the building, leering at her. The voice is... husky but relatively feminine? And the person in question is fairly androgynous, wavy hair slicked back tight against her head]

Hey, little girl, you look upset, huh?

[It takes a few moments for Euri to look up, but when she does she gives this new person a halfhearted glare.]

[Reaches... towards her... to grab her arm SCREECH]

[That... isn't good. Euri tenses and darts backwards, the situation starting to sink in.]

[HOLY SHIT what was that. Euri just stands there, frozen, trying to process what she saw.]

[LSKJDFKLJ WELL THEY'RE ALL... RATHER DISTRACTED NOW, scattering pointlessly because... one-by-one... they're picked off by... yes, Ran without his Glamour, just... huge and fast, all teeth and claws and this low, rasping snarl]

[But the moment he's pinned the last one and knocked them the fuck out, he's suddenly... Ran again??? And turning to look at her and smiling like all of that was quite normal!!]

[Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck, that was Ran?? He definitely isn't human.....

Her simply reply is a tiny squeak and nod of her head.]
